The judge cast doubt on his capacity to act impartially to persons appearing before him as a judge due to such persons’ sexual orientation when he made a public statement on his Facebook page that he would refuse to officiate same-sex weddings if asked and reiterated his position regarding officiating same-sex weddings in a subsequent statement to the media.
