The judge failed to follow the law, exhibited incompetence in the law, and lent the prestige of judicial office to advance the private interests of another, when she contacted a local police department and preemptively suggested to the dispatcher that law enforcement should “hook up” or “retain” an individual if he was rude or disrespectful to them.
