The judge failed to comply with the law, failed to maintain professional competence in the law, and denied the parties their right to be heard when she failed to hold hearings in open court in contested family law matters in which the litigants had appeared to present evidence. The judge additionally failed to comply with her obligation to treat an attorney in a patient, dignified and courteous manner during an in-chambers meeting.
