The judge made sarcastic and untoward remarks to the defendant and his attorney with others present in the courtroom hallway while the defendant was waiting to appear before a grand jury. The judge's remarks demonstrated a lack of dignity and courtesy and also displayed prejudice against the defendant. The judge's remarks were possibly heard by some of the grand jurors who subsequently returned an indictment against the defendant.
